OOTD - Peach + Floral

Prior to living on my own, I have never done any sort of gardening work. It's been one year since I last planted some lilies and bleeding hearts (both perennial plants) and I recently found they have ACTUALLY grown back! The annuals, I found out, on the other hand, never grew back. :( So I had to go flower shopping to fill out the empty planters that sat very naked on the balcony. I always fail to research to find out which flower is perennial vs. annual, etc. I guess I'll find out the hard way when my new flowers don't grow back next year. I picked out a poppy-like plant and a fuchsia plant. Hopefully they will last till the end of summer before Georges (my puppy) eats them. We also tested out my new tripod which was much more fun than I had anticipated. Off to drinks with my girlfriends. Happy Saturday evening!

Everything from here down were taken with a tripod. I put the dslr on the AV setting and just set it on a 10 seconds timer. I used a Canon 50mm f-1.4 USM lens. Some of the photos had filters on them. They didn't turn out too bad...no?
