I went to a Art Deco Talk and Tour with my good friend Liz last week and I learned so much about 1920's and 1030's fashion. Did you know the flapper style (straight-lined chemise top and low-waisted) dress was created to purposely not highlight women's curves so they appear innocent and youthful?

Happy hump day.
Theory blouse // ASOS necklace (last seen here) // Sandro skirt (buy it here although this one is pretty cute as well) // Theory tights // Louis Vuitton bag // Prada shoes
1920's evening wear. Love the embroidery on silk.
1930's evening wear. These are amazing bias cut dresses. They are made with one single piece of fabric without any buttons or zippers.
