OOTD - Neon Pink Sandro Skirt

I went to a Art Deco Talk and Tour with my good friend Liz last week and I learned so much about 1920's and 1030's fashion. Did you know the flapper style (straight-lined chemise top and low-waisted) dress was created to purposely not highlight women's curves so they appear innocent and youthful?
Don't forget to enter my $100 Miinto.com Giveaway here.
Happy hump day.

1920's evening wear. Love the embroidery on silk.

1930's evening wear. These are amazing bias cut dresses. They are made with one single piece of fabric without any buttons or zippers.

OOTD - Royal Blue + Red + Green

I have been lusting over the Parisian brand Sandro lately. I've purchased three items from them within a one month time span. This royal blue silk top adds a  punch of bright colour to my otherwise would be plain outfit. Love it! I am very exciting about the Art Deco Chic Talk and Tour with Ivan Sayers at the Vancouver Museum tomorrow. Anyone who knows me on a personal level will know that I am obsessed with 1920 -1940's fashion.  What is your favorite fashion era?
Thank you everyone for your comments and for visiting. :)

Sequin Skirt Styling Challenge - Look Two

Hello everyone! It's hump day (three more days till the long weekend!).
Okay, on to outfit two of the sequin skirt challenge. This look was inspired by my Sandro sweater. The sweater has little subtle sequins all over and I wanted my feet to shine as well so paired this outfit with my glitter no prive Christian Louboutin. I have no shame in wearing sparkles all over. :) And I think this would be an outfit that Serena from Gossip Girl would wear. It's tres UES. No?
See you Friday for outfit three; check out outfit one here.

Thanks Susan, my dear friend for running around with me to take my photos.
She also styled my hair. She's amazingly multi-talented.
And below is a photo I took of her. Isn't her accessories Karl worthy?
